Jenny,
It all depends on how fast the homeowner wants to move. When owners are very quick at making decisions we can have it in for permit within two months, assuming it's not a highly detailed set of drawings. Sometimes owners want to take their time to really digest and think about every aspect. I've had projects go on for four years when they are very busy with other things and like to take their time. As long as they're happy that works for me. Typically though it takes about four or five months. We can design anywhere in the USA, and have designed homes as far away as Florida and Mexico. Thanks for your comment!

How long does it take you to design a mountain home say of 5,000 sf? I realize this is a very general question but if you could give some idea it would be appreciated. Also, I assume you could design a home anywhere in the country, yes? Love your work! It's truly a piece of art.
