We have a very lax building department in North Idaho.  Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), some of the developments with quality design guidelines such as The Idaho Club, Black Rock, and Gozzer Ranch may change that a little.  In general the architects and contractors in the area are bringing much better quality to the table than they were ten years ago.</description>

I do have a photo of that too.  They aren&#039;t pretty but they do make sense as the mobile homes can&#039;t withstand the snow loads.</description>

		<description>That would be funny if it weren&#039;t such a classic example of DIY architecture in North Idaho.  As I drive around the Sandpoint and Coeur d&#039; Alene area I&#039;m seeing three distinct styles of homes.  The truly beautiful ones such as you design, the spec homes so typical of any area, and stuff like this photo.  I&#039;ve actually live close to a house that doesn&#039;t look much better than this one.  If there was ever a plea for professional help this would be it....
